My high tech workplace is swarming with Chinese nationals. Even though it’
s an English speaking workplace, they constantly bicker in Mandarin, and
very loudly at that. This gets very annoying in an open workplace, and
multiple emails from the HR don’t accomplish anything. They form their own
groups, and don’t hang out with other non Chinese (or non Han, rather).
The CCP monitored WeChat is their main mode of communication.
Some are bright, but many are borderline average. The amount of hand
holding I have had to do over the years is astonishing. But they gobble up
a vast amount of H1 and OPT visas, displacing native workers and driving
down wages. Not to mention the staggering number of anchor babies. But
management is happy, as they get a complacent workforce. The real kicker is
that many move to Chinese owned companies in Silicon Valley as soon as they
get their green cards. All in all, a perfect Trojan horse. | j*********r
