I recently went to both Shenzhen and Chengdu (Yes, I saw the pandas).
Two days in Shenzhen and a domestic flight non-stop to four glorious days in
Chengdu.
The Intercontinental Hotel in Chengdu where I stayed is widely considered
the very finest hotel in the world, right alongside the stunning largest
indoor sporting arena in the world.
Both of these clean, safe, beautiful glittering cities are way, way nicer
than Singapore and great leaps and bounds nicer and safer than Hong Kong.
And this is the best of all: Out of the millions of residents in each of
those two magnificent garden cities one will find a grand total of ZERO
