suspicion of being a spy, has been freed and is undergoing a medical
evaluation at an American Army hospital in Germany before eventually
traveling back to the US.
Chinese-born Xiyue Wang on Saturday arrived in Germany and is being
evaluated at the US Army-operated Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, a
frequent stop for recently released Americans who had been held in overseas
prisons, a US official told CNN. Wang will be at the facility for the
medical assessment for an indeterminate period of time, the source said. |
