9:20 am: DC health officials say no identified risk to AIPAC attendees after
two people test positive for virus
Officials confirmed on Friday that two people who recently attended the
conference by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee in D.C. tested
positive for the virus. Thousands of people attended the policy conference.
The D.C. Department of Health said in a statement that there’s no
identified risk to the people who were at the conference.
“All attendees and members of the public are urged to follow the well-
established prevention tips like staying home if sick and calling ahead to a
health provider if experiencing symptoms,” the health department said. –
