To Members of the MGH Research Institute,
Given the rapidly changing situation around the coronavirus crisis, many
emails are coming out daily from different sources. It is important to read
them as soon as you can, but I realize not everyone will see all of the
messages. In this Daily Tips email, highlight some of the important
messages that have recently come out that will be of interest to the
research community.
How New Mask Policy Applies to Researchers. Effective at 6am today, 22
March, MGH implemented a policy requiring ALL hospital staff working
anywhere within the main hospital complex to wear a surgical or procedural
mask at all times (see attachedannouncement(. This policy WILL apply to
research areas within the hospital complex (e.g., Barltett, Jackson, Cox,
etc.). However, for today, Sunday, March 22, the mask policy WILL NOT
apply
to research buildings not connected to main hospital complex (e.g., CNY and
Simches) |
