WILMINGTON (CBS) — A Wilmington nursing home that was slated to become a
coronavirus care center will delay plans to do so after 51 of the 98
residents set to leave the facility tested positive for the coronavirus
while showing no symptoms.
Pointe Group Care, LLC, operator of AdviniaCare at Wilmington, said the the
facility, which was going to be a 142-bed coronavirus recovery center, is
separating those who have tested positive for the virus from those who have
not, and that staff will now be tested. | G****o

Galveston County health officials announced that there are 83 residents and
employees of a Texas City senior living facility who have tested positive
for coronavirus Friday, which is up from 13 reported Thursday at the same
facility.
Health officials tested 146 residents and employees for COVID-19 at The
Resort at Texas City after 13 residents and employees previously tested
positive for the virus. Some results are still pending, officials say. | g*q
