The two vehicles, which police say each had several occupants, were
traveling eastbound on the Southwest Loop of the 820 freeway just after 10 p
.m. local time, when people began shooting for unknown reasons, according to
police.
Stray bullets hit a woman driving an unrelated vehicle and a man who was
inside his house on the service road, police said.
Six people in all were shot and taken to hospitals, police said, where one
was in critical condition and five were being treated for gunshot wounds
that were not life-threatening.
The suspects are unknown and were at large, said police, who consider the

援工作。
【新疆透水事故煤矿被困人员与井口距离约为1200米，正加快排水】
4月10日18时10分许，新疆昌吉回族自治州呼图壁县雀尔沟镇丰源煤矿突发透水事故。
截至11日9时，救援工作正有序推进。昌吉回族自治州副州长鲍永生介绍，经过测算，
被困人员与井口距离约为1200米。事故发生后，矿井中已陆续启动3套排水装置，实现
每小时排水450m，第4套排水装置正在安装中，投入后将实现每小时排水900m。
昌吉回族自治州卫健委主任孟宪民介绍，安全升井的8人并未受伤，身体状况正常。
【应急管理部派工作组指导新疆丰源煤矿透水事故救援处置】
10日18时许，新疆维吾尔自治区昌吉回族自治州呼图壁县丰源煤矿发生透水事故，有21
人被困。接报后，应急管理部调度指导救援处置工作，并派副部长、国家矿山安监局局
长黄玉治带工作组和专家赶赴现场指导救援；同时，调派国家矿山新疆队、国家矿山应
急救援神华新疆队和当地消防救援队伍赶往现场救援。
【新疆一煤矿发生透水事故21人被困】
10日18时10分许，新疆昌吉回族自治州呼图壁县雀尔沟镇丰源煤矿矿井在技术改造过程
中突发透水事故，导致井下断电、通讯中断。初步了解，事故发生时当班井下29人，截
至目前安全升井8人、21人被困。自治区已组织应急、煤监、地质、电力、卫健等有关
部门和专业救援队伍、设备，全力开展救援工作。 | g**********1
