the international sphere expecting other societies to switch toward our
system of even sexual tolerance is demanding a fairly major change in
foundational beliefs on how they envision life. Why we should press
countries to abandon beliefs we even had up to the 1990s, particularly when
we are dealing with countries where they may arrest people for being Baptist
or voting the wrong, is kind of odd.
Domestically I think court cases have given LGBT people a great deal of
protection and you likely poll as more popular than Evangelicals to some
degree. You're not really in the situation you were just ten years ago. One
of my concerns about coming-out about my attractions "In Real Life" now is
concern people will try to set me up with somebody. (I don't date women
either even though I'm attracted to them as well. Thankfully no one tries to
set me up with women, though one guy online I learned once considered
getting me a woman hooker without my knowledge. Thankfully he decided
against that. I think I lived with my parents so that would have been
awkward.) As late as the nineties it was more "people will shun me." | b*2

under a regime and ruling class that - in the intensity and scope of their
evil - are VASTLY worse than the Taliban.
The American Left reside in the same category as national socialism and
bolshevik socialism.
Which of the three will be remembered as the worst?
Are they really all the same thing - just with different trappings, shapes
and forms, adapted to the environments in which they operated?
Future historians will debate these things for a long time.
