A straphanger was stabbed to death in an apparently random attack while
riding through one of Manhattan’s busiest subway stations early Sunday.
The 32-year-old victim was approached by an unidentified knife-wielding man
on a northbound 2 train as it pulled into Penn Station at 12:17 a.m., police
said.
He was stabbed in the neck by the killer and taken to Bellevue Hospital
where he was pronounced dead, according to the NYPD.
