b*********3 发帖数: 1709 | 2 Asians do contribute to America's scholarly, technological, and economic
competitiveness, whose benefits we all share. |
b*********3 发帖数: 1709 | 3 Let's also not forget that earlier, the Irish and Italians were thought by
many to be a danger to America, because America was meant to be Protestant.
As late as 1900, NYC public school textbooks still referred to Catholics as
evil. |
b*********3 发帖数: 1709 | 4 She lost the argument when she had to admit that Jews, who are also
immigrants, are some of the most extremist and hyper-woke in this country.
This reeks of being a not so well-disguised attempt at arguing for white
nationalism, in face of the evidence shows that Asians have a very positive
impact on America society, especially compared to other minorities. |
b*********3 发帖数: 1709 | 5 So Amy, tell me, are the Jews an oppressed minority or are they not? If they
're White, as you've stated, can you please tell them to stop playing victim
whenever the smallest slight is sent their way? By the way Amy, White
nationalists hate Jews the most but you seemed to have missed the memo about
that one. |
b*********3 发帖数: 1709 | 6 It's ironic that Amy Wax, who herself is a member of a racial group that has
been brutally persecuted for millennia, and as recently as the 1950s faced
quotas of their own from the American establishment, is now advocating for
quotas to be placed on another group that in many ways is similar to hers. |
b*********3 发帖数: 1709 | 7 Black people tend to be Democrats too. Does she think we should try to stop
people from coming to the US for being Black, too?
Amy Wax is a blatant racist. She is very explicit about this. She believes
in quotas for immigration based on race because she doesn't trust the values
of nonwhite people. She is a white nationalist. I don't know how much
clearer she can be about that. She wants the nation to be white, because she
doesn't like what nonwhite people do with their votes. It's the very
definition of bigotry.
Defend the right of racists to teach at fancy law schools if you like.
Defend her positions if you like. But let's not deny that she is a racist.
If racial immigration quotas designed to limit nonwhite people aren't racist
, then nothing is racist. Let us at least admit that when we are debating
Amy Wax's ideas, we are debating whether white nationalism is a good thing. |
b*********3 发帖数: 1709 | 8 A clear majority of Jewish people also vote Democratic. Would Amy Wax,
herself a Jewish person, be comfortable saying that there should be fewer
Jewish people in America? To be fair to her, I think she would. |

b*********3 发帖数: 1709 | 10 Amy- you have the right to say what you want, but if your entire argument is
based on a “small elite” controlling a country who don’t adopt certain
“values”… well,
You could substitute “Asians” in your rant for “Jews”- and we could
publish you in Der Sturmer. We have got to understand that America is a
nation of people with ideas, rather than a nation with a shared “blood-line
”.
Fight ideas- the same way Peterson, Harris and Mchworter are- NOT people. |
b*********3 发帖数: 1709 | 11 Dr. Wax is a second-generation Jewish American born to first-generation
immigrants from Eastern Europe. She is not “legacy” American. She is not
any more American than the millions of second-generation Asian-Americans
born to first-generation immigrants from Asia, myself included. |

b*********3 发帖数: 1709 | 13 What a joke. Is this really the best American academia can produce? If I
went on an anti-semitic tirade, I would be instantly censored, banned, and
quite possibly fired from my job, but Amy Wax going on a racist tirade
against Asians is apparently acceptable. And then Republicans wonder why
Asians don't vote Republican. Its very simple. Despite many Asians having
conservative values, Republicans are PERCEIVED as being racist and anti-
Asian, and Amy's stupid rant only contributes to that perception.
Moreover, if we want to talk which group has contributed the most to "
degradation of morality" (i.e. "leftism") in America, and use that as a
barometer for immigration and deportation, I can think of a certain minority
group that Amy Wax belongs to that we should deport first. |
