A man has turned himself in to police after allegedly stabbing a child, a
teenager and a 37-year-old woman - who was left in critical condition - in a
violent spree in Philadelphia Sunday afternoon.
The unidentified victims, all of Asian descent, were attacked on the 3200
block of Knorr Street in the Mayfair neighborhood at around 2:08 p.m.,
police said.
The woman was 'stabbed multiple times throughout the body.' A 15-year-old
boy was stabbed two times in the back of the head, and a 10-year-old boy was
stabbed once in the back of the head and once in the left leg.
They were transported to the Frankford-Torresdale Hospital. The two children
are listed in stable condition, police say, while the woman remains in
critical condition as of Sunday night.
A man turned himself in at the 15th district station later in the day. He
was taken to the hospital to be identified and is now in police custody. No
charges were immediately announced. | r***i
