UPDATE 7:40 AM: According to an update from Pensacola Police, three victims
were found in the parking lot and two others made their way to a local
hospital. The victims are men and women ranging in age from 21 to 45 years
old.

Pensacola Police Detective are working on the motive for the shooting at a
local nightclub. Several shots were fired inside the club at about 12:30 a.m
. Officers arrived to find multiple victims, three at the scene struck by
bullets. A short time later, two more victims were located at local
hospitals. The victims are both male and female, ages between 21 and 45
years old.
Detectives are still working through this complex situation to determine
exactly what took place. It’s believed the shooting was a targeted incident
, and there are no safety concerns towards the public. This investigation is
a priority for the department to continue ensuring the community’s safety
and quality of life. No arrest have been made.
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Authorities are investigating after five people
were shot at a Pensacola nightclub.
According to a news release from the Pensacola Police Department, the
shooting happened just after 12:30 Saturday morning at The Pelican’s Nest
on East Intendencia Street.
Four of the victims were found outside in the club’s parking lot. A fifth
victim later showed up at the hospital.
All five victims sustained what are being described as non-life-threatening
injuries.
No arrests have been made so far. |
