A scientist from Novosibirsk, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences
Dmitry Kolker died at the age of 54. It is reported by TASS with reference

Dmitry Kolker had the fourth stage of pancreatic cancer, he was being
treated in a hospital in Novosibirsk. On June 30, the court arrested the

from the hospital to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center in Moscow.
“The FSB killed my father,” Maxim Kolker, the scientist’s son, wrote on
VKontakte, posting a death notice telegram. It says that Dmitry Kolker “was
taken to City Clinical Hospital 29 on July 2, 2022, where he died at 2.40.

“The fourth stage of pancreatic cancer is a sentence. But to meet this
sentence not at home, but within the walls of a pre-trial detention center
without proper medical care is the worst thing that can happen to a person,
” the scientist’s daughter Alina Mironova wrote earlier in social
networks.

at the Institute of Laser Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian

Died Dmitry Kolker - head of the laboratory of quantum optical technologies
of the Faculty of Physics of Novosibirsk State University, who was detained

Recall that Kolker was a researcher at the Institute of Laser Physics of the

design of laser systems. In 2018, the scientist went to lecture in China. It

sphere.
Therefore, the FSB officers, when deciding to detain Kolker, probably
proceeded from the fact that this detention is simply necessary right now.
But the question of whether a seriously ill person could be transported to
another city arises. We asked an expert about it.
- The so-called transportability of the patient - that is, whether it is
possible to transport him over long distances, is assessed in such cases, as
a rule, by a general practitioner. A cardiologist or oncologist can also
act as an expert. The doctor examines the patient, measures his level of
blood pressure, pulse, takes an ECG. This allows you to obtain data on the
basis of which a conclusion will then be given. The doctor, in particular,
relies on how resistant the cardiovascular system, renal-hepatic system, and
so on will be to the flight,” Vadim Zakharov, chief freelance specialist
in oncology at the Novosibirsk Region Ministry of Health, explained to KP-
Novosibirsk. “I suppose that was exactly the conclusion in Kolker's case.
And now I have no reason to question this doctor's conclusion. If at that

by the FSB the day before in the hospital, where he was hospitalized due to
