South Korean navy ship 'sinking near North'
A South Korean navy ship with about 100 personnel on board is sinking off
the west coast near North Korea, possibly due to a torpedo attack, reports
say.
The ship was sinking near Baengnyeong island, Yonhap news agency quoted navy

据美国全国广播公司(MSNBC)援引《韩国先驱报》的报道称，韩国联合参谋部官员3月26
日证实，当日在黄海白翎岛西南方海域执行任务的天安舰确曾发射警告炮弹，因为韩方
雷达系统监测到可疑目标，后来才发现只是鸟群经过。
这些官员还说，目前尚无法确定天安舰船底开炸的原因，可能是受到了来自朝鲜的
攻击，但也不排除舰只本身的问题。
据韩国媒体报道，首尔当地时间26日晚9点45分许，在韩国西部海域(黄海白翎岛西
南方海域)执行警戒任务的韩国海军哨戒舰天安舰(1200吨级)因不明原因事故，船底被
炸开洞，船尾开始下沉。
