I think this is one of the extreme cases. Pharmas are indeed in tough
situation but they are still on the top of the food chain. Some of the R&D
programs are very stable although the annual budget gets cut. I feel sad for
this person but there would be some other reasons why he could not find
another job after laid-off. One of them could be his age. if you reach 50+
and is still at bottom level of the system, there will be a much higher
chance to lose the job and other companies will not hire you either, which
applies to almost any professionals including CS and EE. |

发帖数: 15479 | 2 两个人都很乐观。我家里一个亲戚４０出头，PHD＋MD，主任医生，博导，还有其他很
多的头衔。同学里面没提副教授的都很多。他的老板，非但没提院士，还差点进监狱。
国内混不是那么容易的。４０多岁的人，头上都没头发了。每天不开刀是态度不好。开
刀万一出事了不得了。家里都是倍小心的伺候。不论什么情况，都不能跟他吵架的。防
止明天出事故。

发帖数: 10208 | 3 不至于吧， 过去我在睡梦里练刀功， 闭着眼睛想病人的血管神经的走向
这么练还真有效果， 虽然每个病人结构都不同， 但是到了血管和神经侧枝， 手自动
就停下来了， 成了条件反射， 和心情吵架都没关系的
