VUL can be good, but it's only for certain poeple, and where you buy it.
it's just like timeshare, which can be good, but you know how notorious its
reputation is.
Would you knowingly buy something 70/80% of the price of which goes to the
middle man?

发帖数: 210 | 2 VUL对这里的绝大多数人都不合适，我说过好多次了，对50万的保险(OP买50万有他的道理
，可以避免一项不小的费用)，$700/年的保费不能少，但每年$16000的投资有几个人能保
证投得满，OP投了多少，16000还是3000？(许多人也许每个月投$250满足最少条件就成了
；WRL提供5~6%固定收益的选项，他们能保证有5~6%的收益，这个和CD类似)尤其是学生、
刚工作的、买房子的，你们手头的钱会非常紧张的；如果它允许投资16万更好了，但离大
多数人更远了(VUL刚出来的时候，许多富人确实钻这个空子，尽可能多的投资)。
收益无法最大化，所以暂时就没必要去研究税上的好处和各种费用；投资又不能随时撤出
(这个和国民党非常呆板的打“大仗”差不多)。我们这点钱，打打游击还成，比如说我，
用5% driver's edge卡买了$15000左右的GC(如果不集中买GC，5%就过期了)，等deal呢，
反正最近这几个月我也要大量买东西，已经买了很多了，仅在HD和LOWES就花了$5000了。
我是不会轻易用BT出来的钱投资股票(运动战)，MF(阵地战)的，弄不好伤筋动骨，但不放
弃有利条件下

, most points are invalid.

Agree. – That’s another reason it’s only considerable for rich people. For
rich people, the relatively expenses of VUL is less. But how many people on
this board are rich enough to afford and take advantage of such 50k policy?
