u need to be a joint or primary holder to have real credit history
now probably u have no valid credit history
if u apply for a credit card now, they will mostly rule out the authorized
cards and view you as with no history

发帖数: 1339 | 4 副卡也会出现在你的信用记录上的，要一份报告看看。Amex的副卡尤其有提升信用分数
的作用，前提是主卡持有人信用好。你这多半是记录太短的缘故

However, if you go and apply for a new card, it is simply disregarded by the
CSRs
someone asked chase before about this...
(although it is also possible that that was a wrong answer from a newbie CSR
, still it shows this risk)

发帖数: 1339 | 10 Amex started doing this in 2011, after they shameless claimed they were a "b
ank" and got the bail out money. So now they have to "know their customer" a
ccording to Federal Regulations. That is why they are asking for SSNs for AU
s now.
