it could only impact 10% of your score.
Credit check for phone, cable, rent are quite normal. When lenders estimate
your risk of paying back, such inquiries don't mean you are trying to pursue
new credit.
If you don't consider applying auto or home loans, really no big deal for
such thing. |

the Comcast says you have two options: hard pull your credit or deposit $50(
in my case indeed) and you will get refund when you terminate the service.
even the hard pull might have tiny impact on my credit history, I personally
still prefer the deposit option.

score.
Who told you a single pull would degrade score by 10%?
