s*****n 发帖数: 513 | 1 I don't know how many times has this been said, DO NOT CALL!! I am sick of
seeing people saying "I called to check and they said it's out of stock."
Just stop and think. Now, this world pretty much revolves around computers,
right? Now, in order to search for something, they enter the search into
their database. The screen shows up with the low price that's abnormal. Do
you really think that they would just tell you that "Yup, it's in stock and
it's for a super low price right now, so you better rush here and pick one
up." Makes perfect sense, RIGHT?
So do us all a favor and stop calling. Also stop kidding around with the "I
called and they say...." It's just plain annoying. Thank You for reading
this.

I see more and more people with enough posts to know better saying "I just
called and asked them if this is really the price!" or "Should I call?"
Basically if you ever feel like asking the question "Do I call?" the answer
is no, DO NOT CALL.
If you call a store to inquire about a deal, one of the following could
happen.
1. The employee will recognize the deal and horde them for him/herself
2. He might notify management about the deal and it could get pulled
3. The employee may notice it as a price error and "Correct" it
I think maybe no.2 is what killed the AA credit card deal: Somebody might
have just called or emailed or secure msged the CSR and said "Hey a friend
of mine churned this card recently and he got the 50k again and again so I
want to match him.../Hey I heard this card is churnable that if you apply
again.....so I want the same", blablabla
So people, do not call or do similar silly things to confirm the deal,
please. |
