the marriott offer 70k's been out for a long long time. who told you the
link's been dead for a long time? If you do a little google search, you
could find a thread in flyertalk that people are still getting the offer
using some tricks on wiki post with the link.At the moment, it's YMMV.

does not work then it is likely to be dead.
I have tried this trick when I applied several months ago but it was just
simply not changing anything. So I said the page is dead. OK I confess it
maybe YMMV but leaving one link but not comments maybe really misleading.
