1. Manufacture spend with vanilla reload and all that. Never done it before
so I don't know what the risks are
2. Mileage run deals using flyertalk's forum, but these are mainly for
people who want to go for elite status
3. Shitty hotel cards like Hilton HHonors. Conversion rate is terrible,
something like 10,000 to 1,500. So with a new HH card that gives you 50k
points, you will get 7k5 AA points.
4. points.com, supposedly it converts points at a 80% loss, never tried it
5. Use AAdvantage shopping portal, but sometimes the points from that site
doesn’t post.
6. Try to get a business citi AA card

That's the base fee, if you want to share say 20,000 miles they will charge
you $250 extra which is ridiculous.
In comparison, if you were to buy 20,000 miles straight from them, it will
cost you $440+$35
