Earn Cash Back Rewards
only earn on eligible purchases
Up to 5% Cash Back at U.S. supermarkets, U.S. gas stations & select U.S.
drugstores (Everyday Purchases). Up to 1% Cash Back on other purchases. For
your first $6,500 in purchases in a reward year, you will receive 1% on
Everyday Purchases, and 0.5% on other purchases. After your first $6,500 in
purchases, you will receive 5% on Everyday Purchases up to $50,000 and 1% on
other purchases.
Terms and limitations apply.‡ Cash Back is received in the form of
Reward Dollars that can be redeemed as a statement credit.

早点讲清楚设上限也就不用关卡那么麻烦。蓝鸟红鸟serve都是AMEX自家的产品，明知
道自家的产品在技术上将买卡套现变为可能还不更新条款，等到一大群客户每月的
cashback几千上万才急了。
OLD BLUE CASH市场部应该都fire掉。

用了几年的OBC，还没有reach到这个50k的limit，看来用的还是太克制了。

According to this regulation, my account should be closed since I have
redeemed very close to or exeeding 2500cb this year by now.
Will update the closure when they do so.

旧卡里面没有这个条款，
AmEx为什么要采取损人品de关卡行为呢，
你就发个邮件改term，设上限，不就行了。
估计，这段时间关卡，amex的业绩影响不小。
财报不好看，担心股价下跌了。
最后，还是yao通过改条款来控制。
版上炒股的，可以留意一下这个股票，
看看有没有 short 的机会。

我在自己的old blue cash卡的rewards summary里没有看到这个50,000上限啊。楼主是

I didn't know this which dated back to late Oct. I bought 6k vgc in Nov and
the YTD spending should be over 50k...I think I am lucky...
It seems that no more report on closing recently...
