Unfortunately, the deposit of your income tax doesn't
qualify as a direct deposit.
Direct deposit is an easy way to have same-day access to
your paycheck or funds from the U.S. Government (such as
Social Security).
To request direct deposit into your Chase checking or
savings account, sign in to chase.com and follow these
steps:
1. Click the "Customer Center" tab at the top of the page.
2. Select "Set Up Direct Deposit" under "Checking/Savings
Account Services."
3. Under "What You'll Do," click "Download Form" below the
type of form you need.
- Type 1: Direct deposit your paycheck
- Type 2: Direct deposit other income
- Type 3: Direct deposit income from the U.S. Government
4. Print, complete, sign the form, then follow the steps
below to return the form:
- Type 1: Provide to your employer.
- Type 2: Provide to company or person sending the money
to you.
- Type 3: Return the form to your nearest Chase branch.
- If you aren't able find a Chase branch, please reply to
this message with the type of government direct deposit
and we'll submit the request for you.
