total checkout amount is more than the card’s value, and the amount still
owed will be adjusted accordingly. This is
auto drain.
I did the same thing as you. My store cashier simply told me to swipe and
key in PIN by myself, she said she knew it works fine with debit option and
she had nothing to input on her side.

for 4 $500 card, just curious to test if debit mode is the problem for
automatically getting 5% cash back.
This time, I used an old black 5B card to pay $4.95 fee (I always got cash
back posted quickly on this one), and then a red Simon one to pay $500
balance. I selected CC mode, and got 4 separate receipts.
I will update whether the cash back posts or not.
For the ones not posting automatically after 72 hours, I just called CSR and
got one ticket number for all the cards that have this issue, CSR just
asked your info and the original balance on the card, and told me that the
cash back would be added within 1-2 business day. I will update once it
posts

automatic rebate. I have 5b from three different simon mall, purchased
within the same time frame. One actually posted already. The other two are

will file a ticket to escalate this case to second level, and I should get
my cb within 1-2 business day. In the end, I asked if there is any
difference in using this card as debit or credit, she said she doesn't think
so.
My friend used her card last Sunday for $499.95 each, she got cb as of today
, I don't think it's a system problem or weekend problem or region problem
or batch problem.(she bought the cards from the same mall on the same day/
hour as mine)
The only two differences are cc/debit mode and full card amount.

that card will not have CB, but it must be the recent issues cuz I have used
it in autodrain two weeks ago and it worked just fine. Keep us updated when
your CB posted or not, for your full $500 separate transactions.

Saturday batch, using debit autodrain, all of 4 cards got cash back (seems
to be automatic, even though I called CSR)
Monday batch, using cc mode, 1 card posted $25 today, the other 3 haven't,
and the purchase date on all the cards changed from Monday(12/12) to
yesterday. As it's not 48 hours yet, I will keep on chekcing later |

25再拿5%很麻烦
顺便问问大家都是怎么花那个$25的

以后都用cc mode了，感觉比debit来的稳定点。。

will try it again today in the previous store to see whether it's store-
dependent. |
