Update: The sign up page has reverted to the old rewards structure and
according to the comments 1% cash back on all debit card purchases has been
delayed until at least the start of 2018. Discover has returned our e-mail
stating that ” we wanted to let you know that we are developing further
enhancements to our Checking product and we will not be launching a new
Cashback Checking account in 2017″.
