There might just be a very good reason why when any film, (Like the
hilarious Zoolander. There you go Van Eaton) or any television show, (That
episode of The Simpsons Deep Space Homer) spoofs 2001: A Space Odyssey it's
always the ape scene or the docking scene. (Homer spins weightless in space
a single potato chip spins into his mouth...) I think the reason goes beyond
how iconic these moments in this film are. The reason why the ape scene is
so clearly the most popular scene
