I just caught a glimpse of Doyle's "I dream a dream" on youtube. She is
just one fabulous singer, with a beautiful voice. I would rate her 10x
better than Elaine Paige (whom I adore). But Susan simply has a better
voice and presentation.
Doyle's voice remained me of an old Czech movie I saw some 20+ years ago
in China, "Divine Emma" / "非凡的爱玛". It was about a Czech opera star
returning to her country during WW1 (I think). Lots of singing in that
movie and I remember one particular passage of her
