Ohio State picked up a major commitment to its 2007 football recruiting
class this afternoon from defensive tackle Cameron Heyward of Georgia.
Heyward, 6 feet 6, 280 pounds, from Suwanee (Peachtree Ridge), Ga., picked
the Buckeyes over three Southeastern Conference schools: Florida, Georgia
and Louisiana State. He is the son of the late Craig "Ironhead" Heyward, who
gained fame as a hard-running fullback for New Orleans.
