这种背景, 一般公司的面试都可以顺理成章地问罢,
不会吃官司的. 大家别义愤填膺了.
这DB是张口就要两三千万的人，怎能怪雇主调查清楚。
NFL不是请客吃饭，
不是大学教练满脸媚陷地说好话求你去他那里。
It's the exact opposite.
Most can't cut it for the NFL,
and it has nothing to do with physical measurements.
这下好了, 在DB建立稳固的江湖地位之前,
每一个防他的CB/S肯定都会拿他妈说事, 扰乱他的心理.
他能怎么办, 向裁判哭诉? 告上法院? 像当年Zidane自己动手解决?

I guess Ireland was taken by surprise with the honesty.
Still, not a good situation.
I guess if eventually Dolphins took him and he become a success.
He could reflect back and say how great straightforward no-nonsense
person Ireland is.
Now he wasn't taken, however Ireland responded in that situation would
reflect bad.
