you see betting lines like that in BCS conference games? Even I-AA
Appalachian State was only a 35-point underdog against Michigan that year.

how bad that team was just 3 years ago. Jim Harbaugh has really done an
amazing job turning things around.
Most of the key players from that 2007 upset were still around last year and
many are still on this year's Stanford team. These guys started for
Stanford as freshman and sophomores, but they are mostly 2nd, 3rd or even
4th string backups as seniors. That gives you an idea of the talent level
of the 2007 Stanford team.
