coordinator Steve Addazio as its new head coach.
The person spoke to The Associated Press Wednesday on condition of anonymity
because Temple had not publicly announced the hiring.
The 51-year-old Addazio had been a member of Urban Meyer's staff at Florida
during Meyer's six-year tenure with the Gators. Addazio has also been an
assistant coach at Syracuse, Notre Dame and Indiana.
The opening at Temple was created when Al Golden took the job at Miami
earlier this month.
