conference for Wednesday, March 23rd to address the Ohio State football
programs recent violations in a scandal which say Terrelle Pryor and 5 other
players sell and trade memorabilia objects. Head coach Jim Tressel has all
but gone down with the ship in recent weeks with the revelation that he had
knowledge of the incident long before initial investigations.
Now an NCAA source has spoken, and apparently the 5 games suspensions
on Tressel, Pryor, and the other Buckeyes isn’t enough to satisfy the NCAA
infractions committee.
Among the sanctions that will reportedly be levied against the
University’s football program:
* All victories from the 2009 and 2010 season will be vacated
* Will not be televised for the 2011 season
* Will not be allowed to partake in post season bowl games for 2011 or
2012.
* Will lose 10 scholarships in 2011, and 5 per year in 2012 and 2013.
These are amongst the hardest sanctions the NCAA has handed out in many
years, but the message is clear; they intend, on at least a superficial
level, to clean up the game of college football. |

were eligible at that season. And considering USC's sanction, banned
from televised is just absurd -- it does not only hurt OSU but also
other schools if it is true. I just don't see it happening.

么说你觉得我是有倾向的，可即使是拿USC Basketball的处罚和Football的惩罚来比，
也是不公平的。
Football这个从头到尾唯一能证明和学校有联系的就是RB coach和agent有一通深夜的
电话。我也不相信教练们不知道，可确实没有其他的证据。Basketball教练直接给OJ
Mayo送钱，只罚了一个post season。是什么道理？
