interested in USC as a possible next destination, but a source close to the
situation who isn't authorized to speak publicly on recruiting matters told
ESPNLosAngeles.com Wednesday night the Trojans have not contacted the San
Diego native and have no immediate plans to do so.

Forcier, a Scripps Ranch High graduate who started at quarterback for the
Wolverines as a true freshman in 2009 but lost his spot to phenom Denard
Robinson in 2010, announced in February he was planning to transfer to Miami
. But he never showed up on the Miami campus after that.
He told ESPN's Joe Schad this week he was considering a new set of possible
destinations in an attempt to stay closer to home so his parents could
afford the trek to his games.
That list included USC, as well as Auburn, Kansas State, Montana and San
Diego and San Diego State. But USC has not expressed any interest in Forcier
and has not contacted the 20-year-old.
The Trojans have three scholarship quarterbacks -- Jesse Scroggins, Cody
Kessler and Max Wittek -- on their roster with four years of eligibility
left. Forcier, who would be eligible to compete in 2012 as a redshirt
sophomore if he completes a transfer to a Division I school this offseason,
would be blocked on the USC roster by that trio, just as he was with the
Wolverines by Robinson and Devin Gardner.
Wherever he ends up, Forcier will become the third of the Forcier family's
three college-quarterback brothers to switch schools, and he also could
become the third to involve a California school. His oldest brother, Jason,
transferred to Stanford in 2006 after two years at Michigan, and middle
brother Chris memorably left UCLA for FCS school Furman in 2009 after Rick
Neuheisel favored junior-college transfer Kevin Craft for the starting spot.

发帖数: 20256 | 2 I think Forcier must be joking. USC has only few scholarships left once the
NCAA announce the denial of their appeal. I would not want to go there.
Auburn is also a risky place to go. Who know what's going to happen to them
two years later, after the investigation. |
