Gators: Tebow,Hernadez,Cooper,Spikes,Haden,Jekins,Pouncey等等，还有一个因为
DUI没能上场的Dunlap。
BAMA：Ingram,Richardson,Capenter,McClain,Cody,Dareus,Arenas.等等。
现在的这场比赛才有几个球星？Hype得太高了，两队水平都不如那一年。别看现在这么

Alabama and LSU Mean Business
College football’s latest “Game of the Century” is now officially on the
radar, the upcoming Nov.5 matchup between Louisiana State and Alabama, the
nation’s top two teams, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Both powerful Southeastern
Conference foes will be idle the week of October 29, giving the game a Super
Bowl-like two week buildup and essentially assuring they will head into
battle as No. 1 (LSU) and No. 2 (Alabama).
It’s the kind of matchup that reminds us why the SEC is in the process of
raking in $3 billion over 15 years from CBS and ESPN.

Last year’s Alabama-Auburn game drew 12.5 million viewers for CBS, making
it the most-watched game of the 2010 season. Meantime, CBSSports.com expects
at least another 100,000 viewers to watch its live stream of the game
online, plus a bump in traffic during the two-week buildup, according to VP
and General Manager Jason Kint.
On StubHub, tickets are going from $353 for the upper end zone to $3,000 or
more for prime sideline seats at Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium. Despite
the relatively lower median incomes in the southeastern United States, the
area is enough of a college football hotbed that the SEC’s national cache
makes it the most lucrative such property in the country. Figures put out
by the Department of Education in 2010 show the SEC leads all conferences
with $1 billion in annual revenue, and that Alabama has vaulted to No. 2 in
the country at $129.3 million, trailing only the University of Texas. The
SEC has captured the last five BCS national championships and at least a
share of eight titles since 1996. Adding to the intrigue: Crimson Tide coach
Nick Saban, who coached LSU from 2000 to 2004, has won titles at both
schools.
Is the SEC growing too dominant? Not according to sports media consultant
Lee Berke, who points to the conference networks and multiple platforms put
in place by the Big 10 and Pac 12 in recent years as they try to compete
with the prestige and cash of SEC. “It’s a halo effect, the SEC’s success
drives competition, which drives media dollars,” he says.
The last comparable regular season game: the Ohio St. – Michigan clash in
2006, when both Big 10 teams entered their season finale undefeated as the
top two ranked teams in the country. Airing the game on a Saturday
afternoon, ABC got its highest ratings in 13 years with 21.8 million viewers
, as Ohio State pulled out an exciting 42-39 win and a spot in the BCS
national title game, where they lost to Florida (and talk about a bubble
bursting loss for Michigan: the Wolverines’ next two games brought losses
to USC in the January 2007 Rose Bowl, and then to Appalachian State in their
season opener nine months later. They’ve never been quite the same since).
This year’s battle of the titans could do even better. CBS will put LSU-
Alabama on in prime time. And the Nov. 5 date is perfect – no competition
from the locked- out NBA or from baseball’s World Series, which wraps up no
later than October 27 (there will be a game on ESPN between another pair of
SEC powers, South Carolina and Arkansas, that will partly overlap).
“You’ve got more multiple platforms than you had in 2006,” says Berke. In
the digital age, there is so much chatter about football, which really
