Despite the offense's struggles in LSU's 21-0 loss the Alabama in the BCS
championship game Monday night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, backup
Jarrett Lee didn't play. Lee was a good solider afterward, saying he trusted
the coaches' decision and was more concerned about the team losing.
But he was short when asked whether Coach Les Miles or any of the coaches
approached him during the game. "No, he (Miles) hasn't (approached him),''
said Lee, a fifth-year senior.
As for if he approached the coaches about lack of playing time following the
Nov. 5 Alabama game, Lee said: "Nope, sure haven't. I haven't talked to any
coaches or anything.
"I don't know it at all. I'm not really sure what happened, but I just tried
to stay prepared for whenever my opportunity came. Obviously, it didn't. I
don't know what the deal is, but this was a special team.''
