But a lot of board of trustees members are mad at him
because they knew nothing about this highly confidential
negotiation. Understandably, Erickson really has no choice
but to accept the current sanctions. However, he doesn't
give board of trustees a chance to decide, which ironically
is similar to ex-President Spanier
"So, the university's President went over the heads of the Trustees and did
what he thought was best to save the football program. That sounds so
familiar. Clearly they haven't learned a thing."

这个就和赌博一样，亮底牌前问你一句，跟不跟。不跟就这么处理你，把桌子上的钱拿
走就完事。如果你还要唧唧歪歪的喊跟，人家一亮牌，你桌子上和兜里的钱就全部清空。
谈判是什么？
你把钱输光想赖帐，想跟人要点路费，又想要点住宿和餐饮费。人家如果不给，你就赖
着不走，或者扬言报复赌场。
所以，昨天ESPN告诉美国的就是前一个意思，PSU果断认蜙不跟，所以没有把兜里的钱
也搭进去，最后不是死刑。 | Y******e
