Fake, schmaltzy inspirational tales are the essence of the culture of the
program. The inspirational story of Knute Rockne and his dying player,
George Gipp, became a famous movie that helped enshrine Notre Dame football
in the culture. In reality, Rockne was an ethically dubious sports gambler,
Gipp a pool hustler, and the main events of the story — Gipp’s dying wish
to “win one for the Gipper,” Rockne’s inspirational halftime speech —
never happened.
Likewise, Rudy is the inspirational story of a walk-on who overcame the odds
to play football at Notre Dame, but the story is also filled with
falsehoods. Rudy, by the way, turned out to be a stock scammer. | G****e

是啊。天主教的猥亵男童事情多了去，因为慎于宗教的“神秘”性以及虔诚的压力，大
多数大事化小，小事化了。否则，跟PSU那事情比起来，天主教的估计更恐怖可怕（猜
测），能把天主教搞分裂的。
这些事情，需要等待有良心的人哪天继续戳穿，才有可能见天日。
还是那句话：人性都差不多，越是圣洁的，越是有嫌疑。
