Boston Nankai / TJU AA Joint BBQ Outing
波士顿南开/天大校友会联合烧烤
Come to join us for a fun summer BBQ outing, jointly organized by Boston
Nankai Alumni Association and Boston Tianjin University Alumni Association.
When:
Saturday, July 27, 2013 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
(Subject to rescheduling in case of any severe weather)
Who:
Alumni and friends/family of Nankai affiliated schools (Nankai University,
Tianjin Nankai High School, Nankai #2 High School, Chongqing Nankai High
School) and Tianjin University alumni. Other friends are also warmly welcome
to join us.
Where:
Cochituate State Park, 43 Commonwealth Rd., Natick MA http://www.mass.gov/dcr/parks/northeast/coch.htm
Activities:
BBQ, swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, soccer, volleyball, all
other sports/games, networking and lots of FUN!!!
Volunteers Needed:
Volunteers who can help prepare BBQ food or make picnic meals from home.
Volunteers who can go to the park earlier to secure the grills and space.
Cost per Head and Registration:
-Adult: $12
-Child: $5 (5-12 years old)
-Young Kid: free (<5 years old)

Payment is in exact cash only and due at the park on July 27.
Please note that we strive to make this event affordable and do not require
payment in advance based on our alumni trust and volunteerism. Onsite
registration will be $15 per adult and is not recommended because we need
time and budget to prepare food. If you need to cancel your registration,
please do inform us at least two days ahead of the event to prevent any food
waste and your credibility damage (Those who get registered but fail to
show up will be blacklisted and publicized).
Carpooling:
We are in need of volunteers to provide a ride to those who don’t drive.
Passengers are expected to share the gas and parking fee with their driver.

-Safety is your responsibility, event organizers will not be held liable for
any personal injuries or property damages.
-Bring your outing gears (sunblock lotion, swimming suits, fishing rods,
folding chairs, balls, bikes, etc.) and games (chess, poker, etc.).
-Parking cost is $5 per vehicle.
-You might be denied park entry if you come late because the parking
