company focused on information fusion technologies from basic research to
industry transition and product development and support. IFT is located in
Germantown, Maryland. We are working on modeling, control, communication,
signal/image/speech/text processing, security, autonomy, and decision making
in networked systems. We are looking for talented developers majoring in
engineering (e.g., EE, ME, AE), computer science, applied mathematics, and/
or physics to join our multidisciplinary team as full-time employees or
interns.
In particular, this intern position requirement is as follows:
1. Required experiences/techniques
• Wireless communications and digital signal processing related
classes
• Direct experience of TX/RX implementation on USRP or other
hardware
• Direct experience on the system design and performance comparison
of FDMA and CDMA systems
• Direct experience on cross-layer design for adaptive modulation,
such as various PSK and QAM
• Cognitive radio techniques, such as spectrum sensing, power
allocation, spectrum allocation
• Statistical signal processing
• C programming
• Matlab programming
