It's been tried to culture mangetic nanoparticles with cells and get NPs
internalized. These NPs can be pulled with an external magnetic field to
migrate inside cells and become aggregated. Authors claims that this may be
useful for destructing tumor cells.
I can imagine there are many problems you need to solve in doing animal
study. The first in my mind is the need to have a magnetization for your NPs
. To make them aggregate you need these NPs to have a large magnetization,
means that you need a large size magnetic NPs. However large size raises the
issue of circulation for these NPs.A lot more to be taken into
considerations... |
