will work on phonon and electron Monte Carlo simulations of three-
dimensional GaN-on-SiC devices. The applicant should be familiar with
electron and phonon modeling and parallel computing with Fortran programs,
with good writing and communication skills. The applicant should have a PhD
degree in relevant fields (e.g., materials science, physics, mechanical
engineering, and electrical engineering). Experience with first-principles
calculations (using VASP and Wien2k) and molecular dynamics simulations (
LAMMPS) is a plus.
