在NJ Treasury的网上查到下面这个Property tax rate. Jersey City的General Tax
Rate要6%,要是assessed value就是purchase price的话，那这个税也太高了。。。
我想问问在JC买房子的筒子们，你们每年的property tax是怎么算的呢

。７％，每年会涨一点点，直到１５／３０年后涨到正常的tax rate。

Another thing is once you entered into an abatement with the city, they also
lock in the purchase price. Even if the market falls, the city will not
reassess the property value unless you are willing to break the abatement.

我记得jersey city新的high rise大多tax abatement是１５，２０年fix rate的
