different airlines might have different policy though. so lz would better
call his/her airline to ascertain.

you boarding in EWR instead of PHL.

分开买的就没关系，或者改机票，或者其它特殊状况比如罢工什么的 |

before. His flight from PHL was delayed. And if he had waited for the PHL
flight, he would definitely miss the next leg (from EWR)to China. So he
called the airline company and they let him skip the PHL flight and board at
EWR.
The hard part is getting the airline's approval to board at a different
airport. Having a good reason sure helps!

发帖数: 6980 | 11 你说的情况并不适用于楼主，航班晚点导致误机的话航空公司负责重新安排是合情合理的。除非楼主也碰到了航班大改点，晚点或者取消的情况，否则不可能跳过第一段。
所谓“合理理由”其实就是“因为航空公司的原因被迫这么做”的意思。
