Description:
A Medical Device Manufacturer that provides design engineering,
documentation, prototyping, contract manufacturing, assembly, and post
production services.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering (will also
consider a Science such as Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry,
etc.)
- Solid knowledge of the full quality system and GMP
- Proficient leadership abilities in a face paced environment
- Must understand financial impact of QC - QA on a smaller
company
- Great organizational skills including multitasking, planning,
meeting deadlines
- Capacity to take ownership of projects from start to finish
- Ability and willingness to be individual contributor in addition to
leadership role
- Results Driven. Strategic thinker.
- Intelligent, advanced learning abilities and problem solving
skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with
peers and management
- High energy, self motivated individual and demonstrated self-
starter who takes initiative to solve difficult problems
- Analytical skills needed to conduct research, analyze data and
write technical documents. Strong interpersonal, oral and
written communication skills required.
- Able to organize work and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient with MS Office tools.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications:

Position Responsibilities
- Review product labels, packaging, product instructions and
user manuals
- Perform in-coming receiving inspection
- Knowledge about instrument calibration
- Help to maintain the company's ISO13485 quality system
- Handle key suppliers' quality issues perform supplier audits.
- Supervise the maintenance activity in the manufacturing area.
- Participate in Internal Audit program and the audit program
corrective actions.
- Ensure that all corrective actions are effective and verified.
- Participate in product quality reviews, management reviews
and preparation of quality reports.
- Review and approve nonconformance reports.
- Interact in risk analysis (DFMEA and PFMEA) management
meetings.
- Participate in review of product labeling as required.
-Participate in FDA inspections, ISO certification and customer
audits.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous
improvement.
- Interact and coordinate activities with other departments,
external vendors and customers.
- Involved in quality issues with users and customers.
- Review Document Change Orders (DCOs) for compliance with
regulatory requirements
- Participate in cross-functional projects teams, as assigned.
- Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job,
and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and
compliance at all times.
- Knowledge of Statistical tools and process validation (IQ, OQ,
PQ).
- Experience in the medical device industry a plus.
- ASQ certifications in Quality/ Auditing are a plus.
