Also, most of my wife's colleagues live in Maplewood if they don't live in
NY or JC. Just curious why. I don't see any advantage of the town...

tolerated, seems Cranford or Westfield would be better choices...

and commuting between Metuchen and Iselin is a whole lot easier...
