Same-sex marriage is finally legal in New Jersey, now that Gov. Chris
Christie has withdrawn his challenge. "[T]he Court has now spoken clearly as
to their view of the New Jersey Constitution and, therefore, same-sex
marriage is the law," Christie said Monday, three days after the state
Supreme Court refused to stay the ruling that permitted gay marriage as of
12:01 a.m. New Jersey becomes the 14th state to allow same-sex marriage and
is the most densely populated. |
