I am here to break a very, very sad news. Our Mayor McDonough passed away
this afternoon in his office while working on the upcoming snow storm
preparations.
Mayor McDonough has been a good friend to all of us. He has been very nice,
kind and considerate to everyone in Harrison. He has been very supportive
to our Chinese community in town as well. Even a week ago during the
Chinese New Year time, he gave his own money to senior center to buy candies
for Chinese seniors. He has been working very hard for a better Harrison
and he dedicated his whole life to this town till the last minute of his
life.
This sudden tragedy broke a lot of people's hearts. We feel so said about
his death. Harrison Chinese Association calls for everyone to participate
the Condolence , Wake and other memorial services for our mayor. We will
post the latest news and service schedule as soon as we have them available.
