Scope of Position:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing safe, efficient and
visible workflow systems through the distribution center. Dedicated to
continuous improvement, the manager seeks opportunities to engage and
develop the warehouse team to improve quality for customer orders and
guarantee on-time delivery through the successful management of inventory
control and distribution functions.
Responsibilities:
o The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining inventory and
supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse.
o Managing all forklift and Delivery Drivers, observing all safety,
transportation, and DOT regulations. The incumbent is responsible to insure
adequate staffing, setting priorities, managing project schedules, and
provide training and support.
o Quarterly Stock Check and Cycle Count
o Work is performed in warehouse and office environment
o This is a full time, benefited position. Monday ~ Friday
Qualifications:
Experience (minimum level of proven experience in a similar
position) at least 1 year above.
-Chinese speaker preferred
Proven experience in Trucking and Ocean Transportation knowledge,
inventory control and/or distribution operations
Experience in receiving, shipping, and inventory control
o Fully proficient with various software applications (WMS System, MS Word,
MS Excel) preferably with a base knowledge of inventory control.
o Displayed ability to work independently with minimal supervision; The
ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
o Preferred read or write Chinese is plus.
o Supervision, Safety Management, Data Entry Management, Dependability
o Must be able to pass a medical physical and criminal background check
Physical Requirement:
o Ability to operate the forklift
o Bending to lift items from the floor and racks required.
o Lifting items between 25 ~ 50 pounds required. |
