MA to NY or CT. MA has very good benefits for my parents with GC, including
free health insurance, cash benefit etc. My big concern is their health
insurance. Does NY or CT have any benefits for seniors? I heard NY state
most likely has it, but CT will never have it. Could anyone help me and tell
me if it is true. Also, how to apply any benefits? What's the link?

发帖数: 1192 | 2 Yes, your parents will be eligible for Medicaid and food stamps. I'm not
sure about the cash benefit unless they have accumulated 40 points for the
social security benefits. In Chinatown and Flushing, there are people on the
street to help you fill out the forms. Otherwise, you can visit a local
social security office.
CT - not sure about this. You can google and find out. In any event, if your
parents have been in the US for over 5 years, they should be eligible for
free medical insurance.
