nding Yale University. It is a wonderful opportunity for high school student
s aspiring to be entrepreneurs.
Greetings NYC Ladders for Leaders Students,
I am Vincent Yu, a student at Yale University and representative of the Yale
Entrepreneurial Society. We are an undergraduate organization devoted to cu
ltivating and enhancing entrepreneurial thinking both at Yale and beyond.
I am writing to inform you of an exciting new competition we will be holding
this year – the Yale Bulldog Business Challenge (YBBC). For years the Yale
Entrepreneurial Society has run successful business plan competitions exclu
sively for Yale students, but this year we are pleased to expand the reach o
f our competitions to all high school students across the nation.
The YBBC allows students to enter their business plans for a chance to compe
te against other student entrepreneurs from across the country. Top entries
can win a variety of exclusive awards including a live interview with renown
ed School of Management Professor Maureen Burke, honorary membership in YES
together with other YES oriented benefits, and cash prizes. You can find mor

We think students from the Ladders for Leaders program have a particularly g
ood chance at being successful in the YBBC due the the leadership developmen
t component of the program as well as the real experience with business offe
red by your organization. We'd love to have such experience represented in o
ur contestants this year.
